Uhhh, so I'm gonna faction change and transfer my priest. I don't know what to name her :( I've been stuck on a name for months, and so far the best I've come up with is Chalcedony. I actually have that name saved for her, and what a chalcedony stands for kind of reminds me of the stupid little storyline for her THAT I MAKE UP WITH ALL OF MY CHARACTERS that it kind of fits ... but I dunno :( I hold out for something better. She'll be undead, of course :) I wanted Eithne, but SOME FUCKER HAS IT and I don't want to put a special character in it :(

Oh, there's a girl in my Student Success class that is the epitome of every fucking wapanese bitch I hated back when I used to roleplay. She's all about Twilight and KH and pretty-boy AZNS with shitty music, and went on and on today in class about moving to Korea because she "loved the culture" :/ *throws up everywhere* Her Kingdom Hearts t-shirt and greasy black hair didn't exactly help my opinion of her x/ I REALLY JUST WISH I COULD DESTROY THESE PEOPLE OK GET OFF MY PLANET YOU FUCKS

So things have gotten remotely better, which I have been hoping for! Not much has proven to be a disappointment, except for that I've gotten a really bad cold that I called in sick for today. I got all my homework in, got my tests done, got to leave work early last night for my illness, and I get my paycheck tomorrow. :)

So, I finally managed to bag a job. Where you ask? Probably the most unlikely place you'll ever find me.

I now work at UCF in the restaurant they have there, as a chef.

I can BARELY cook for myself. And they expect me to be able to cook DECENT meals with THEIR recipes. Oh well, a job's a job. 8 bucks an hour, not much more than I was making before. But it's work. I'll have to start somewhere. I go down there tomorrow to do my registration, get my coat and hat, cutting glove and all that crap. So yay me, I'm back to working.

Not only do I have this baby hunter, but a 60 troll mage and another druid (at 70 though, not 80) up there too. I probably won't level them to 80, they're not even my toons. I'm leveling them on an account that belongs to someone else who is currently in basic training.

I'm eating fresh green beans for dinner and they are sooooooo good. Om nom.

My paid account ran out, I don't know why I even bothered getting it in the first place. I didn't use it for like ... 3 months immediately after I got it. That kind of sucks. I hate when I buy stuff on impulse, it's something I need to curb.

I spoke to Bojack for the first time in a while, caught him on his shaman when Arygos went down and I decided to pop back over on Sen'jin to see who was on. Apparently he's still on Dentarg and I told him where I went, and he said he'd think about going back to Sen'jin. I told him to check out Arygos and wait for faction transfers to come out ... since that's basically what I'm doing.

I have all of my classes paid for for school, though I can't say it was an easy feat to accomplish. I'm just really glad I went down to VCC East when I did the other day, because I can't imagine the line I would have been stuck in had I gone the day before payments were actually due. So far I have no holds, all my paperwork is turned in, and I got my classes set up and stuff. Everything is done, I just have to wait for my financial aid to kick in.

My cousin is attending college this year for the first time, so my aunt and I set up her class schedule to fit with mine. We have the same exact schedule and a couple of classes together, but mostly we're just set up at the same time so we can carpool. She's nervous and doesn't want to take Speech without me, and since I haven't taken it yet I told her I would take it with her this year. I can see what she means by being afraid of taking Speech alone ... When I gave a presentation in my humanities class last year I ended up freaking out a little bit and I almost even cried up there talking about my project ... Just not used to talking in front of large groups of people, especially when they aren't that interested in what I'm trying to tell them. Obviously teaching is going to be like that, but still I get offended by stuff like that and I have no clue how to react.

Lately I've been visiting the Neighborhood Center for Families in my quest to find work, with the help of a guy that works there. Basically what he does is act as a second pair of eyes for me, and gives me resources to work with that I haven't found before. He encouraged me to apply for Universal, which apparently has a very good track record with employment and later on should have many, many openings (Harry Potter land!) :) I was to apply and then call their Human Resources center and speak to someone about them pulling up my application, just letting them know I was very interested in it, but I kept getting redirected to multiple automated systems. I couldn't even speak to an operator that was an actual person, and when I finally did get to the system that dealt with applications, they had a message saying that there were so many applications to them that they didn't have the time to tell everyone their status. So basically it was "we'll call you when we need you" and that was that. I told the guy this and we're currently trying to work on how we can get everything together. I visit him weekly and I'm slated to go back to see him on Tuesday in the morning, hopefully our searches will be a little bit more fruitful than earlier ... Good thing talking to him is free, I'm pretty sure I would be screwed if there weren't something like this around here.

Huh, what else has been happening ...

Oh, I'm excited to see the movie Gamer. My brother wants to see it, so I'm hoping that if we scrape the cash together we can see it sometime after it comes out, maybe at the cheap theatre or something. I want to see Inglorious Basterds too, even though I normally avert from anything Quentin Tarantino has ever made. They both look really interesting (although a bit on the gory side), and I'm stoked to go see them all. :)

Whew, this has been the longest entry I've written in a while. I promise I won't abandon this thing like I did for the 2+ years before like last time. I just made a bunch of friends and I'm not keen on losing them anytime soon. :P But I'll be back!

PS: I dunno about the rest of you, and I'm probably really slow on the times, but I just found out BENNIE K existed and I really like them. D:

I've been worried lately about how I was going to pay for school, since for my first year of college I didn't qualify for a pell grant and getting a job is still up in the air right now...

Well I qualified for a pell grant this year :D I'm so stoked!

In other news there was a fucking monsoon outside today, and after it was done raining I went to check the mail and my flip flops got stuck in the mud :(

In an effort to take my mind off of the stress of getting loans, signing up and paying for classes, and job hunting, I tried cooking today ... and no, I didn't burn the house down.

I actually made something that my father would eat, and my brother wouldn't touch (AMAZING ISN'T IT)

I'm absolutely starting to break down--I NEED a job, and I thought I was doing pretty okay as far as it went. My mom throws a wrench into that mindset really quick by telling me by next month we're losing pretty much all of our utilities except electricity (we don't pay a water bill), so that means no tv (idc), no phone, and no internet. I applied for over 17 jobs since yesterday. One of them has to yield SOMETHING for me. :/ It's really starting to make me crack ..

Not only that, but I absolutely HAVE to return to school, no questions asked. I thought about not going back in the fall, but I don't have a choice anymore. It's either that or instantly be up to my ears in debt. I have to work and go to school at the same time, and I don't know if I can handle it, seeing as I've never done it before. But I'll have to make do with it ... I just don't know about if I'm able to. I don't have a choice.

I've been between huge moodswings today, between crying hysterically and laughing trying to feel better, and it's just making me tired. I have to call the college campus tomorrow and ask them about financial aid, and then I have to job hunt some more, and finish cleaning, and make more phone calls about jobs ... and then I have to deal with school shit and IDK but I really wish that this crap weren't all happening at once ... I suppose I deserve it, for putting it off for so long. I'll make it through, it's just going to suck really hard.

I fixed my bed, it folds up now. I think it's a lot comfier this way, actually. And, I have floor space! I just need to finish picking stuff up and putting things away, I've still got a mess in other places around here.

I'm going to relax and stuff, try to prioritize stuff and get it all done in an orderly manner so I don't tear my hair out over it all.

My room is an absolute disaster area right now because I'm cleaning, and I found my huge trading card binder under my bed. I have really old trading cards! I have first edition pokemon cards, promo cards from both pokemon and digimon, and I even have sailor moon, gundam wing, and card captor sakura cards O_o and then there's just random stuff here and there, and of course my wow cards. Does anyone know how much this crap is worth? rofl
